For my web page, I chose the Nebraska Library Commission's Resources Page for Children and Young Adults: http://www.nlc.state.ne.us/Libdev/librarians.html
This website is a collection of helpful links, organized by category, including activity pages, collection development, crafts, events and program ideas. I chose this website because it does a lot of the work for me of gathering together the many different facets of information that I might need about my topic. I used Google to find this site.

Competency #8
I chose this graph for my blog because I think as a future librarian in charge of youth programs, it is very helpful to have a visual representation of participation numbers for another library's summer reading program.Huntington, Barbara.
